It might help to know that Tideswell in Derbyshire is also in a stone quarrying area, so there might be a connection there.

Our hope was that our G A Barnes (George Arthur) was the witness. He came from Lewisham the same place as the bride, and the bride's father lived a few hundred yards from where George had a workshop.
