Is Brookthorpe in or near Longford ?

Whaddon is very close to Brookthorpe on the south side of Gloucester

The Mary Gwillim Mace has the nearest dates and area !
The follow-up with the christening, James Mace & Betty as parents looks good as Betty a common shortening of Elizabeth.

Not sure of the christening of James Pennell Watkins ?
He states born Longford on the census returns. Is Brookthorpe in or near Longford ? This would add credence to the information.

Tempted to add John Mace, [ a lodger with James & Mary in 1841 } as a brother to Mary Mace. But this is only suposition and needs a bit more evidence to make it positive.

Found them both as husband & wife in Longford Hamlet in 1841, then later in 1851 with larger family.

Unable to find any trace of these two in earlier records ???
