Looking for information on Sydney Cooksey b1906

I have just spent a lovely day with my parents looking around graveyards in the Forest of Dean for any Cooksey relatives.

I found a grave for Sydney Cooksey b 1906 d 1955 and his wife Beatrice Elizabeth b1906 d 1994. I have been able to determine from marriage records that he married Beatrice nee Jenkins in Brentford, but I have been unable to determine where Sydney fits into my family tree - if at all.

Does anyone know who Sydney's mother and father were? Also as he appears to have moved to London when he married and had children born in the London area, why is he and his wife buried in Drybrook?
