CROOMES

Dear all

Following a few interesting exchanges on one of the threads recently I thought it might be helpful to make my interest in CROOMES more widely known and to offer to collaborate with others wherever possible.

My interest starts with a great grandfather: Henry Croome b. 11 Jun 1855, Woollaston who went off to Newport.

I have been piecing together the Croomes in the Forest using the indexes here. We appear to have crossed over from the other side of the Severn in the 1730s.

I have been contacted by 2 or 3 people already and have replied directly. Happy to hear from others who have any interest.

Regards

Paul
