WILLIAM SMITH m. ANN FURBY Aug 4th 1810 at Newland.

Parents of my gt gt grandmother ELIZABETH b. 1811 nee SMITH /YEATES

Noted Elijah Beach was a shoemaker as were the Yeates.

Fanny Beach appears to be a niece of Elijah Beach living with the Wilce in Monmouth/ who connect.

Am now wondering about HARRIET FURBY m. Benjamin Yeates Dixton Newton 1802.

Watkins of Harry Hill

Arthur Watkins was born in 1847 in Foy, Herefordshire. He married Rhoda Smith in 1872. Rhoda died in 1889. Their children were Charles (111874), Edith (18876), Julia (1881), Howard (1883) and Elsie (1888). Rhoda died in 1889. In 1891 Arthur and his children lived in Palmers Flat, West Dean. In 1901 Arthur, Edith and Howard lived in Harry Hill, East Dean, Elsie was visiting the family of Pertha Smith in Coalway Lane End, West Dean and I have no information on Julia, who may have died, or Charles. Arthur, Howard and Edith emigrated to Boston, USA but I have no information on what happened to the rest of the family. Does anyone have any information please?
