<title>The Weighing Machine, Incline Lydbrook Hill (reply)</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On the Incline of lydbrook Hill there was a weighing machine - I think it was for measuring the tramway trucks being hauled up / down the Incline- today it would be a weighbridge.</p>
<p>in 1851 William and Tempearance are shown as machine clerk and wife for the machine on the Incline.</p>
