I have a several photos of the family of John PARRY GLOVER and Jane nee STEPHENS, including one taken at John Henry's elder sister Laura's wedding to Wm EAGLES which shows John Henry PARRY, Helena nee HALL and two of their children (probably Kate and John). I am looking for further details of Helena Maria Parry(abt1871-1952) who was married to my ancestor, John Henry Parry (1869-1952).

I cannot find her baptism or marriage records in either name listed in the parish records search/advanced search.

In the family we knew her as being Helena Maria Hale and that is the name registered on the general death index. The 1901 census, however, has her listed as Helen Maria Hale.

I believe they married in 1892 - there are separate listings on free BMD for a John Henry Parry and a Helen Maria Hale marrying in that year. Both married in the Westbury district.

I would be grateful for any further information,

NB - John Henry Parry often appears under several names. He appears on records as either John Henry Parry, John Henry Glover, and John Henry Parry-Glover. His father, John Parry (1841-1909) was the (proabably) illegitimate son of John Parry (1812-1894) and Caroline Glover (1824-1874). He was born as a Glover, but called himself Parry in later life.
