Fanny TYLER nee CAPENER (reply)

Hi

this is where it gets confusing - His Aunt Fanny's marriage certificate states her father to be Edward Capener who was a farmer. However his father's marriage certificate shows an Elias Capener. Gilbert says his father said his family's livelihood was farming and that there was a family who lived next door to them called Pick in North Nibley.

Gilberts relations lived in teh forest of dean and he said that Fanny, his father's sister was born in the workhouse in Dursley. I will let Gilbert know that hsi father was born in Merthyr because he hardly knows anything about him. thank you very much.

A Gilbert Capener born 1930 does not know who his paternal granfather is. His father is either Elias or Edward capener (B1877.
