Hi Simon,

I have recently obtained a photograph believed to be of Mrs Green at the High Street, Cinderford Studio. I have sent it to Dave Watkins for inclusion on this site.

Being very interested in old photographs of the Forest of Dean, is it possible to view some of the collection that you have?

Regards,

Simon

The old photos of views of Cinderford we have displayed in our Photo Gallery would have been scanned from post cards of the period. I would imagine many of them were taken by your great-grandfather as he was a prominent photographer in the area at the time.

--

Would you please advise me if you received the email I sent you a few days back regarding the collection of photos of your great-grandfather?

Good luck with going through your archive, I for one can't wait to see what you unearth.
