i am aware that the Census enumerator has recorded Worcestershire against Tibberton - however, errors have been made by enumerators :-)

So this is a "for consideration" rather than " here is the solution" entry

Unfortunately the Sarah Davis on the censuses was born in Tibberton, Worcestershire, not Tibberton, Glos.

I cannot find Sarah b. 1802 anywhere either in deaths or marriages.

How do you define Sarah as born 1802 ? which records lead you to this ?

Sarah's parents married in Tibberton (John Walters m. Mary Hodges 25 November 1794. Would their marriage transcript say whether John actually belonged to Tibberton or was he from somewhere in Herefordshire. The witnesses I think were John and Esther Reed.

Thanks for replying. 1841 census says John was b. Glos - 1851 says Herefordshire. I had hoped that their marriage transcript would say where John came from. Thanks again.

Can anyone help me find Sarah Walters born 1802 to John Walters and Mary (Hodges) in Tibberton. She had an illegitimate daughter (Sarah) born in 1822 who married James Hyett in 1836 (with consent of parents according to banns). I cannot find Sarah b. 1802 anywhere either in deaths or marriages.
