Evelyn was the daughter of my great-uncle John David Beard (b 1875 Penrith whilst his Gloucestershire born father James Beard was working in Cumbria as a stonemason) and Edith Keryia Beard (maiden name not known). Her brother was John James Leonard Beard (b 1903 Gloucester). The 1911 census shows the family living at 32 Belnheim Road, Gloucester.

I can't locate a birth certificate that shows the maiden name of her mother or any records of her marriage. Any assistance in respect of anything about her would be much appreciated.

UPDATE (11:00hrs 24/11/10)

I have now discovered that she married ? Stevens in Gloucestershire in 1932 and died in 1969 but would still appreciate any information about her mother, especially her maiden name
