I spotted John halford jenkins but wondered why the middle name didn't crop up again in the census etc.
Also I would expect a Nancy in the family of John and Ann if his mother was Nancy.
The 2 John jenkins baptised at Newland (residence Berry Hill) were the most likely, I thought. But proof will be difficult.

This is the correct family and it seems possible that Sarah is their first child.
I don't know how Ann Williams came to F o D from Bermondsey or where John and Ann married.

there is a John Halford Jenkins - christened 7 February 1802 - mother Nancy - Awre (Blakeney) - John says he was born East Dean

John Jenkins was a collier born about 1804 in East Dean (1861 Wales census) or
Forest of Dean (1851 Wales census).
He married Ann Williams of Bermondsey, Surrey about 1830.
Daughter Sara was born in 'Forest' about 1833.
The following children were born at Trevethin, Wales where John was a collier.
I would be interested to know more of John and his parents if anyone has an interest in this family.
Parish records on this site are fantastic but too many john Jenkins to be accurate.
