a warning off topic (reply)

Whenever you receive one of these messages it is best to check if it is another Hoax before posting it on. This Chain letter has been circulating since 2005 and has recently re-emerged

Sophus Anti virus list the "Royal Mail scam" as a chian letter and recommends that "If you receive this or a similar message, please do not forward it to your friends and colleagues. Forwarding unsolicited chain letters wastes time and bandwidth"

Trading Standards and ICSTIS (PhonepayPlus' former name) have issued a statement at the following link
http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/output/news/Postal-scam-chain-email-PhonepayPlus-stateme...

a warning off topic

Hi I dont know if this is happening in"the Forest" but a friend of mine has just sent me this message
approaching -
it
has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are
making
people aware of the following scam:

A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel
Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel
and
that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a Premium rate number).

DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from
Belize.

If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you
will
already have been billed £315 for the phone call.

If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal
Mail
Fraud on 020 7239 6655.
