Looking at the children's names: i.e. George Theophillus and Martha Sophia

Theophilus BRIDGES married Martha BULLOCK lic - 1 February 1776, Upton St Leonards (which is about 3.4 miles from Painswick)

The only other BRIDGES family at Painswick, are the children of Thomas & Maria BRIDGES - who on later census, says he was born in Painswick.

George was baptised in Painswick, Gloucestershire in 1816. His sister Martha Sophia was baptised in Painswick in 1818. The parents' are recorded as George Bridges (shoemaker) and Ann. I am trying to establish a marriage for George and Ann. There is no record in the Gloucestershire Archives for Painswick, and as both George (junior) and Martha appear together in 1841 Census in Little Dean, I was wondering whether this couple may have originated from the Forest of Dean. Any help would be very much appreciated.
