Hi, I have an Alfred Roberts Born 1888 died 1947 who was married to Beatrice Matthews. They were my Nans parents. Alfred William Roberts 1913-1962 was one of Alfreds sons and he married a Catherine Jones. They had 3 children, Pearl, Alfred Ivor, and William G Roberts. Pearl married a Kenneth Hobbs.

Thankyou slowhands, this appears to be the correct Alfred and Beatrice as the death year matches both. I now have to need to go backwards on both sides. Any help greatly appreciated, also any guidance around the site which may be useful. I know very little about the Forest of Dean in general.

Beatrice and Alfred Roberts of Plump Hill

I would like to know if anyone has a family tree for Beatrice and Alfred Roberts of The Rocks Plump Hill, Mitcheldean. I noticed a Sue Drinkwater provided the Forum with a photograph of Pat(Alfred) Roberts which is my great Grandfather. I only know that Beatrice died in 1975 and Alfred in 1947.

I would like to put together the family tree for a gift next month. I hope someone may be able to help with any dates, names and photographs.
