Abel Roberts brother James Roberts 1815 married Esther Matthews 1821, daughter of William Matthews 1792 & Esther Dubberley 1789, children from this marriage leads to more Roberts, Trigg's & inevitably several Marfell's.

I have Thomas Walter Phelps in my Family Tree, I had only shown him as married to Blanche without surname, but of course, when Slowhands gets involved I learn a lot more, including her surname and much more.

To add to the information :

Thomas Walter Phelps was the son of George Phelps 1849 & Lydia Wood 1853. George Phelps 1849 son of Thomas Phelps 1821 & Charlotte Roberts 1822.
Thomas Phelps 1821 son of James Phelps 1778 & Prudence Goode. James Phelps 1778 son of Thomas Phelps 1748 & Hannah Garfield. Charlotte Roberts 1822 daughter of William Roberts 1793 & Ann Barnard 1799. William Roberts 1793 son of Moses Roberts 1773 & Mary Hayward 1771, Moses Roberts 1773 son of William Roberts 1750 & Phebe Vaughan 1752, William Roberts 1750 son of William Roberts 1714 & my GGGGGG Aunt Mary Brain 1716. I can go back further but enough, I will however add that William Roberts grandmother was my GGGGGGGG Aunt Joan Marfell 1654.

Just found James LEWIS on 1911 census living with his mother and stepfather with the census noting him as single, and living in Aberdare. Did he remarry? Did he die before 1928?

I was wondering if someone can tell me what happened to James LEWIS, Blanche ROBERTS' first husband? I note from this thread that he was residing with his mother and her husband, the census noting him as married. However in my research in the 1911 census I have Blanche married to Thomas Walter PHELPS with six of seven children. The census noting that they have been married ten years. Looking at the parish records I see that Thomas and Blanche married in 1928 with Blanche marked as a widow. So did James and Blanche decide to part but remained married with Blanche remarrying once James had died? In 1911 Cyril their son is staying near to Blanche but living with his grandparent Edith COLWELL(ROBERTS). What happened to Cyril?

The above inquest list contains the name James LEWIS, Ruspidge, East Dean. I would like to obtain the details of the hearing. We are searching for information about my wife's grandfather. We have the marriage license dated 14 November 1891 when James LEWIS married Blanch ROBERTS ( wife's grandmother) at the Westbury on Seven Register Office.
