Luisa PALMER c1808 (reply)

Thanks for all that, definitely Esther Gough on image as you say.. I can see it now :)... I need to regroup and think about this!

I have found a Samuel Jones and Maria next to the Eliza I though was mine in 1841, but he works in Tin factory.

HO107; Piece 364; Book: 11; Civil Parish: Dean Forest; County: Gloucestershire; Enumeration District: 10; Folio: 41; Page: 7

Samuel Jones 45
Maria Jones 28
Hannah Jones 14
Joseph Jones 11
Elizabeth Jones 4
Mary Jones 65
Eliza Jones 19
Sarah Jones 4
Noah Jones 6 MO

previous thread

http://www.forum.forest-of-dean.net/index.php?id=30030

Another clue?
In 1881 Eliza and her husband Thomas Howell living at Winalls Hill, Lane End have John Hale, 18, lodger with them. RG11; Piece: 5225; Folio: 21; Page: 7

John's parents look like they may be John Hale and Sarah Jones m 1845, could Sarah be sister to Eliza? Unfortunately marriage not on here :(, registrar attended on Gloucs BMD. Would be goos to know who Sarah names as dad.

getting more confused by the minute, but sort of thinking the Hewelsfield one may not be mine? still leaning toward the one above with baby Noah who died, and then she called another son Noah. can't woek out who that 4 year old Sarah is though..

Thanks again
