I cannot help with information about Richard Probert, but Mary Jordan was a widow who had married my ancestor Thomas Jordan in English Bicknor in 1765. Thomas died in 1767 leaving Mary with a baby, Thomas, born in 1765. Her maiden name was DOBBS and I believe she was born about 1736 in Staunton, Gloucestershire.
