The only Arlingham records on site are post-1812. As Arlingham is on the East bank of the Severn and not in the Forest of Dean there are no current plans to add further records.

Have you tried IGI Batch Numbers for Gloucestershire?

and search Arlingham

the earliest seems to be - christening Thomas GHOSHLYNE - 4 February 1542

On the Gloucestershire Burial Index - there are a few burials or GOLDING's in Arlingham. Looking at 'males' born pre 1800

there is

Aaron GOLDING - 15 June 1869 - age 80 - Acquitted of Larceny at Gloucester Assizes - 6 March 1839 (age 44)

? Aaron GOLDING - married Elizabeth FORTY - Cheltenham St Mary - 3 May 1825

and

Moses GOLDING - 18 August 1842 - age 39 (Moses GOULDING - married Charlotte SMITH at Arlingham, by Banns, 25 December 1827)

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have those records - or at least those that I have tied to my tree. I just cannot find many relating to the 1600 & 1700s. There are a few but I have quite a lot more. I'm just hoping that these are still to be loaded.

You stated in a post that the parish record project was almost finished and few records were now being added. I was wondering about the Arlinigham records. I have quite a few records (50+) for Golding in Arlingham in the 1600 & 1700s which are not on this site and I know that there a quite a few more that I haven't fitted into my tree as yet. Can you tell me whether these records are going to be added and when please.
