This is my family, I come from Elizabeth Huggins who married Jasper Johnson. I have the birth certificates for all Charles and Elizabeth's children but no marriage, I suspect they never married.

It is a very compicated family but I have been told that Elizabeth Lock/Ryles was the daughter of a Buz/Leonard Lock whose parents were Matthew Lock and Remembrance Boswell. They are as you rightly say gypsies.

I have a marriage certificate for Buz Lock, 1847, married Caroline Loveridge but according to information I was given a lady called Ryles was his second wife!

As I say all very complicated and I haven't looked at my research for a while, hope that helps! A member of the romany family history helped with the Buz Lock info.

I have a Edgar Huggins born 1907 at Newent, parents Abiram and Catherine ( Newman )

Abiram parents Charles and Elizabeth.
On the 1881 Census Abiram is named as Byron Longwarnen born 1878, on the 1891 Census down as Abirham born 1878, but as Huggins.
I have not been able to find a marriage for Charles and Elizabeth or a birth of any of the nine children except in 1873 Matilda at Gorsley.

I have a Charles Longwarne born 1843 at Linton Worhhouse Mother Hannah.

Next I have Joseph Huggins married to Hannah Longman in 1845 at Linton, and on the 185i and 1861 census for them there is a Charles.

Am I on the right path or not, any ideal for a marriage for Charles and Elizabeth and births of the Children, Titus, Matilda (got) Elizabeth,Abiram, Henry,Sidney,George,Walter and Elsie as given on the 1891,1891,1901 and 1911 census.
