<title>Quarryman's estate value</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>An ancestor of mine was a quarryman in the forest. He died in 1865 and his estate was valued at almost £450. Would this be a typical sum for an ordinary quarryman to leave? It seems rather high to me. He does not appear to have been an employer.</p>
