At Long Last I have managed to track William Ible Born 3 Dec 1843 in Kempley, Registered in Redmarley, apparently Kempley was in Worcestershire then??.
I now have his Birth Certificate. Mother Elizabeth Ible. but no father on birth certificate.
So I am still no clearer who is the father of William Ible. Illigitimate or died I have no idea

If the Father had died it is "usual" for him to be named as deceased
If born out of wedlock, sometimes the father is acknowledged, sometimes not

You probably have an "out of wedlock" child....

William Ible born late 1843, son of Maria. Born Kempley or Much Marcle. In 1848 Maria married Joseph Fort(e)y born 13.10.1808, son of John and Mary. Maria's father was Thomas. The witnesses, John and Elizabeth may bave been siblings of Joseph he had several brothers and sisters.

On the 1851 census William is aged 7, labour('s) son, born Kempley and living at Kempley Green.

Joseph was in trouble for theft several times and eventually died at Portland Prison on 7.7.1862, Accidental Death.

Maria then remarried to Thomas Matthews of Oxenhall on 22.10.1862. Hope this helps.

I am searching for the parents of WILLIAM IBLE, I think born in Kempley Oct 1843,he married ANN DAUNTER in March 1879 in Oxenhall (born in Westbury Oct 1855). Their marriage cert says his father was WILLIAM GITTENS. According to family members in Australia his father was a Chinese seaman with the surname of PU. I cannot find either way.
