Matthews Family at Plump Hill? (reply)

The memorial inscription on the grave of Thomas and Laura Matthews, at Holy Trinity Churchyard, Drybrook reads: In loving memory of/Laura Albina Matthews/the dearly beloved wife of/Thomas Matthews/who fell asleep May 27 1938 aged 58 years/Not just today but everyday/in silence we remember/Also in loving memory of/Thomas Matthews/husband of the above/died March 24 1948, aged 67 years/reunited. The grave memorial apparently still exists and I will locate and photograph it if it is in reasonable condition.
See also on this site, in documents and articles, the report of the inquest into the cause of death of George Matthews (brother of Thomas) - George Matthews, Plump Hill Tragedy 1915; and his headstone in photo gallery - gravestones 2.
