thats odd as I sent it very late last night ?!?.
My message was that as I didnt see your most generous post until past midnight last night, I'm probably too late, but if not then please may I take your Mercury pages ?. I collect all forms of documents, books, old maps etc relating to the Forest and I'm particularly interested in newspapers. I have some prewar Mercury's but this one would be of particular interest as it's my early childhood plus the one-off World Cup winning year "to boot".
That said, I suspect I'm too late and that's fair enough, many thanks again for your generous & thoughtful offer.

Hi just found in old drawer page one and two of The Dean forest mercury dated friday 23 dec 1966 front page contains many local stories and some photos page two consists mainly of local adverts,,,willing to post free to anyone who may find it useful
