NIBLETT of Westbury (reply)

Edwin Niblett b c1824, son of Thomas and Nancy - no baptism found. He married Sarah Jones 24/12/1844 at St Briavels.Children were Emma, Thomas,Harriet and Mary Anne. He was buried 10/1/1875. They are still on 1871 census so this is not the Edwin who died in 1862.Confirmed by probate granted to wife and son Thomas in 1875.
I have lots of info on Nibletts from Westbury area

NIBLETT of Westbury (reply)

Hi, welcome to this great website, a helpfull forum plus a huge database of Parish Records.
If you look at the Parish Records section of this site, enter "Niblett" and select "Westbury on Severn" in the appropriate boxes, you will see 96 Parish Records to peruse; baptisms, marriages and burials. There are some records for Edwins and Williams but they do not tie in with your dates.
Removing the "Westbury" filter to get all eleven records from all parishes, gives your Edwin's Burial,

Record_ID: 5024
Entry_Number: 429
Year: 1862
Month: Jan
Day: 9
Surname: NIBLETT
Forenames: Edwin
Residence: [No address given]
Age_at_death: [no age given]
Officiating_Minister: John J.Hedges
Event: Burial
Cause_of_death:
Memoranda:
Notes:
Register_Reference: P85/1 in 1/12
Page_No: 54
Parish_Chapel: Cinderford St John
Soundex: N143

Looking at the marriage records for Edwin, at first glance he appears to marry twice, but actually these are different Edwins as different fathers are given, William and John.

So as you can see there's a wealth of relevant data on this site for you to hopefully enjoy. Hope this helps.
