I am unable to trace an 1806 Parkend parish DOB, presumably this is because the church (St. Pauls's, Parkend) was only built in 1822?
Before this period does anyone know what the 'local' church would have been for those born in Parkend?
Or maybe they did not get baptised?
I'm searching for ancestors of George Johnson b.1804/8 a woodcutter from Parkend/West Dean.
Any help would be great.... :o))
