<title>Flower Brain</title>
<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>At the moment I have been side-tracked into the Brain family, initial research was Phelps.  Came across a Flower Brain, child of John and Melinda Brain.  On 1881 census the child Flower is shown as female, and also on 1891 female age 17, no occupation given.<br />
Then found marriage record of Flower Brain married to Sulia Elizabeth Barnard in 1896 Westbury on Severn.  I am totally confused as to the sex of this person, Flower being an unusual name for a male, unless of course the translation of the name has been mis-spelt.  I can find no record of Flower and Sulia Elizabeth on any further census.  They could of course have emigrated.  Can anyone shed any light on this mystery?  Regards Jean Herbert</p>
