There are some old properties at the end of Varnister/Vonnister road. The road then leads on from Ruddin past Barrel Hill Farm and then Vain Farm towards Howle Hill and Hope Mansel.

Can someone please help me with any details on the Village/Town of Vernister in the Ruardean area. Assuming I have it spelt correctly, I cannot find any mention of Vernister at all on the web. I have also tried many different spellings of the name.
