Moses Marfell baptised 14.8.1774 was still working as an Agricultural Labourer at age 80, so I think not. Moses had 10 siblings, none of whom appear to be involved in the quarry by their respective occupations, especially not Jonathon you mention as he died aged 2.

Hi all Hull forester back again, as you know my main interest in the forest is the Cinderey family and the forest church, i still am trying to find that link. But i need to find the supposed Marfell link to the quarry. The ealiest Marfell who could buy it would be Moses Marfell, father of Edmund, or Mose's brother Jonathan. And i think Rev.Henry Birkin had a part to play in it.
