I am also from that same line! Georges and Elizabeths son Philip and from there am descended from his son Matthew (born 1631) How interesting. I have tried to "translate" some limited wills etc but it is hard going to say the least. I'm currently trying to find evidence of George's Grandfather. I know there was a Richard pomphrey mentioned in the Militia Muster in 1522 but need to find further proofs etc.
