That will has many errrrr mysteries for us all does it not. You also forgotten Mike GWILLIAM, Chris SHEEHAN and Sue CROSBY tsk tsk Cherryl chuckles to myself. I am so blessed to have you all in the family and share not only a close bond called family but also share a speical bond doing our family tree together. Plus a very keen eye called Slowhands and a few others on here as well as this very wonderful website. Muahhhhhhhh a big hug,kiss and awarm greeting to all.

Evening all and hello Beajaytee.

I am yet another Elsmore clan 'cousin'. William [1795] is your Joseph [1780]'s brother. William is my 3xgt grandfather. I am already in touch with Ivan, Kiwi and Catherine so just wanted to say hi to you too! By the look of Joseph's Will though, I am the poor relation.

Thank goodness for the invention of television I say, otherwise there would be loads more Elsmores around.

I'd also like to say hi to May....are you out there?

Have you found details of marriage of Joseph and Elizabeth ?
Joseph is my g.g.g.grandfather . In his Will (dated 1834, the year of his death)
he names his children 'ASTON (commonly known by the name ELSMORE) '.
Also 'my natural son by Elizabeth ASTON ' If Joseph and Elizabeth did marry
why would he refer to her in this way ?
There is no mention of a son Thomas in the Will.

From what I found all was born or baptised in Breem or Bream and hailed around the Newland area

It would be good to locate the place of marriage - the baptism may have been there too, or, he simply was not baptised as a child or maybe as an ASTON.

Joseph ELSMORE remarried Elizabeth ASTON 12 July 1810 Gloucestershire England acording to IGI, so his mourning time was very short.

If he was born in late 1809/ early 1810 - his mother "Hannah" died in or shortly after childbirth
or Joseph's new "partner" is the mother, which possibly places his birth as from August 1810 onwards - depending on Joseph's period of mourning

married 19 Jan 1850 Maisemore, Gloucestershire, England
Thomas Gardener ELSMORE's parents were Edward ELSMORE and Elizabeth GARDNER.
Edward ELSMORE is related to me thro.
So back to finding Thomas ELSMORE born 1810.
Btw did Susannah FORD and Thomas Gardener ELSMORE have family.

I seem to have lost my Thomas ELSMORE born 1810 Gloucestershire England, son of Joseph ELSMORE and Elizabeth ASTON. No idea what day or month or if he married had a wife and family or where he died. Any one seen or found him please.
