Hi Alison,
no I afraid I don't know if Ada was married before she went to America. The last record I have of Ada is the 1901 census when she as living in Nottingham. I have no proof she went to America, just my Grandma's story that her Aunt Ada had gone to America.

Ada Clements

Hi
when my Grandma was alive she said that her Aunt Ada went to live in America.
Ada Clements was born in Popes Hill East Dean, Forest of Dean in 1880. In 1901 she was living in Nottingham with her mother Louisa and brother Albert Charles. Could anyone help me find out if the story is true and Ada Clements did go to live in America.
thanks
