I think Alice May Beard is my mother's ( Lena Grace Stride )uncle Ted's wife. They lived in or around Pontefract Yorkshire where my great uncle Teddy worked as General Manager at the Pomfret cakes factory. He drove a French Citroen car for many years. There was a link between him and Alice and my mothers cousin Pat Beard who moved to Tasmania after retiring from the Royal Air Force back in the early 1960's.

I have a digital copy of the theater picture and I think a few other pictures of my Grandfather William Stride and my Grandmother Emily Stride aka Emily Jane Beard.
I know I have a relative who lives in Tasmania, New Zealand. He was formerly a Royal Airforce pilot and he left England in the early 60's to go to New Zealand where he now lives with his own immediate family. Also my mothers uncle Ted who lived in Pontefract Yorkshire, he worked as I understand Head of Production at the Pomfret Cakes and Liquorice factory there for many years. Still looking for any other surviving relatives from my mothers family ( The Beards )who I am sure must still exist in the Cinderford area.

Hi,I'm trying to find anyone with information on my mothers family of Beard who resided in Cinderford or nearby during the early 20th Century. I do know that two of her cousins are listed on the Cinderford Great War memorial on the triangle. Also that several businesses in Cinderford have been or are still owned by Beard family members.
