I can now erase Janetta from my Teague family line. I do have if interested information on william & susan's family.

Hi Gill

James Forder and Janetta Teague were my great x 4 grandparents.

Regarding the witnesses to their marriage in 1819, I surmise that William and Susanna Teague were the brides' brother and sister-in-law, respectively.

The 1851 census states that Janetta Teague was born in Bath, though I suspect that it may well have been the parish of Walcot (a suburb of Bath today) which, according to the 1851 census, was the birth place of said william Teague. There are no entries on the IGI, though there is work-in-progress on FreeReg for the period of interest to us.

Incidentally, have you been able to trace the baptism of James Forder? He was the son of William and Mary Forder, James being named as a beneficiary in his father's will dated 15 June 1826.

James & Janetta married 29/7/1819 at Mitchledean by banns abode listed as Hundreds of St Briavels, witnesses were a William & Susan Teague.

Does anyone have these names in their tree, I am wanting info on Janetta, ie where she is from and who her parents might be. Janetta was also witness to a marriage in English Bickner in 1815 to Edward Elsmore & Elizabeth Gardener.

I know who the William & Susan are as have tracked them through the censuses.

Any info gladly recieved
