Mile End

I have a few notes of a few things my father mentioned prior to his death in August,

One is that he had an Uncle "Thomas Ireland" as far as I know unmarried, living in a wooden type bungalow in mile end, as I am not from there when I came recently I tried to find the location.

Driving up through Broadwell to Mile End the rd forks after Woodview Ave? the Uncle's bungalow was on the fork to the right and the place where I think it could have been is where theres a gap between houses and there is now a more modern bungalow set back... but I can no longer confirm this... can anyone help?

Also if he lived there and ~I know he was still alive in the 1930's which churchyards would be the most likely for a burial
