My 2 x Gt Grandparents James DALBY marr Patience SCRIVENS in 1849 Newent they had children, William,Ellen,Henry,George,Mary Ann, Alice Elizabeth, Charles, Eliza,Fanny (my direct line), Hubert, Alfred all between 1849-1874.
I'm wondering whether the older children emigrated as I can't find them after 1871, no deaths or marriages either.
Is anyone researching DALBY from this area

Also does anyone know if you can still purchase the book Chapters of Newent History as Dalby's are mentioned.
