There is a death for Frances Howe in 1975, however, no marriage between Howe and Allaway.

Can anyone shed some light to resolve this for me.

I had come across this entry and throught that I had cracked it, but searching for birth of Evelyn, there is no sign of here registered Forest of Dean, Ross, Westbury on Severn or Monmouth. I suspect the birth of Evelyn in the marriage you have stated is Evelyn born in Pontypridd in Mar 1920.

Worth a shot as sometime the spelling can hold you back on searches.

Frances L ALLAWAY - mother's maiden name ALLAWAY - J/F/M Qtr 1916 - again Ross District (sister to Francis born in 1913?)

I was unaware of Frances work in service as shown in 1911 census.

I am trying to solve the mystery of Frances's daughter, Evelyn. I am uncertain of her surname Howe or Hawes. I can't find reference to her marriage either.

As a very long shot, would like to solve who the father of Francis Sydney T Allaway is.

I haven't been able to find any marriage for Frances, but that doesn't mean she didn't get married.

She had a son, Francis Sydney T Allaway in October 1913 in Cinderford. It is unknown who the father is.

She also had a daugheter, Evelyn around 1925. I can't seem to find her birth record. I understand she was registered as Evelyn Hawes/Howes. It is unknown who her father is. It is most probably that Evelyn and Francis have different fathers.

I understand that Evelyn married a Leslie/Lesley Evans. I can not trace the marriage.

I don't believe they had any children.
