Was hoping to find out who was living at Fir Tree Cottage in Brierley Banks in 1911. I know my Grandad, Redvers Simmonds, was born there about 12 years later but was wondering if the family had been there some time.

I do have access to ancestry but not sure if its possible?

Ancestry has yet to transcribe the area

the 1911 Summary book gives two 6 memember family candidates

Mr Simmonds 4 2 Bullo Newnham, Gloucestershire
Mr Simmonds 5 1 Ruardean Hill, Drybrook East Dean, Gloucestershire

I suspect your family is the Ruardean Hill one...

No problem searching by address if you have a subscription to findmypast. Have had an opportunity to look today but cannot identify the address under Brierley, Brierley Banks or Drybrook.
