Yes, I believe that his name is really 'Taliesin' - a former renowned barer of this name was the 10th century Welsh poet, who wrote one of the four ancient books of Wales - 'The Book of Taliesin'. Spelling varies - Tallareen/Tallerin (in the marriage registers). Searching for his whereabouts/burial after 1825.
