My family are from the Clearwell area.

The 1871 census indicates that they lived in some cottages attached to the Butchers Arms.

I understand these cottages were demolished in the 1980's so that the Butchers Arms could extend their car park

Has anyone got any photographs of the cottages taken before 1980?

I will happily reimburse any duplication costs.
