I am checking to see if anyone knows if the family of Elijah and Martha Wintle from East Dean named in the 1881 census with 8 children Edward (20) Elijah (19) James(17) Mary(13) Elizabeth (10) Cora (7) Isabella (5) Martha (1) is the same family as mine.
My information is having Elijah and Martha with only 3 children Elizabeth (my grandmother) birth 1871 Elijah ? birth and Frederick birth 1869 died same year.
Can I assume this is one and the same or another case of coincidence re the same names.
My Elizabeth Wintle (Christ.St James Bream 7 May 1871)married Ernest Green 1904.
