This looks like the family from the 1851 census. There is a place called Long Sutton close to Holbeach which might explain the birthplace difference.

I can find no evidence that either Jane or George come from the Forest of Dean. They appear to have married in 1862 and the 1871 census suggests they were both born in Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire.

I'm struggling to find the parents of Jane Mennell born 1841 in the Forest of Dean. She died in 1917 Durham and her married name was Appleyard. I believe she also married George Martin who was also born in the Forest of Dean in 1841. George died in 1877 in Kent. Any help greatly appreciated.
