I have established that my Great Great Grandfather Richard Matthews was born in Caerleon in 1809/1810.
On the birth record his parents are shown as Richard and Mary but I have been unable to uncover anything more than their names.
It would seem that this may have been researched already by members of the Forest of Dean Family History Trust. Does anyone have any further detail they could share with me please?
