Hi slowhands,
Emma Woodward had two sons both apparently born out of wedlock.
My GF Fred Woodward b.28/5/1885 at Ruardean Woodside, East Dean and Thomas Frederick Woodward b.5/5/1892 at 6 Chester St Easton Bristol.
In 1901 FW was living with his Grandma, Eve Pratt (Woodward-Watkins) and TFW was living with his Aunt.It was finding this Aunt on the 1901 that put me onto Thomas.
Emma had relocated to S.Yorks in the late 1890's
Hope this explains things.

I'm confused - the base note asks about Fred from Ruardean , not Thomas from Easton Bristol.....

Thanks "slowhands" but I have all the info. you've sent.What I would like is info. re-Thomas Frederick Woodward b.5/5/1892 at 6 Chester St.Easton.Bristol.
or his descendents. I have his birth cert.and I have him on the 1901 Census.

I obtained my GF's Birth Cert in 2004.I found a probable date on www.freebmd.org and when applying for the cert. specified that parent(s) must be,in this case,Emma Woodward.
