In my entry here 01 June 07 I indicated that the parents of Ann Winchester were Charles Valentine Winchester & Ann Vonthethoff.
On receipt of a birth cert from GRO concerning Ann Winchester's brother John, I see that John's mother's sir name is limb, which perhaps throws things into a bit of confusion.
Perhaps Ann Winchester's mother may have a sirname of 'Limb' or their were two women on the scene perhaps.
The name Vonthethoff was taken from the South Australian incoming migrant's register off the ship "Trafalgar' arriving in South Australia in 1849.

John was born in Counties of Oxford & Berks in 1841.

Can anyone throw some light on this issue, certainly would appreciate.

Through this inquiry maybe I will gain the prime information I seek on the Birth,Marriage,Home Parish, dates & locations of the parents which is proving difficult to find from my neck of the woods in "Australia".
