Hi, are you still following this thread?

I'm descended from the Bromsberrow Brooke family via Elizabeth Brooke, b.1711, daughter of Richard Brooke and his wife Alice Eaton, who was the eldest daughter of Rev Richard Eaton. Through the parish registers of Bromsberrow I find the Brookes in situ for at least a century prior to this date, but I don't know of any connection to other Brooke families - as yet.

I have my family back to Richard Brooke who died in 1715 in Frampton Cotterell and am hoping to find where he came from.

I have an interest in Thomas John Brooke of Bromsberrow Heath who married
Catherine Prothero in 1882.

Hi, Can you make it clearer which of the several families of that name you are referring to? I have an interest in Richards Brooks buried 22 March 1824.

The Brooke families of Bromsberrow repeatedly use the names Richard, Thomas and William. Is anyone researching these? There is a similar pattern in the Old Sodbury family and I wonder if they are connected.
