Thanks for input. Jesse seems to have disappeared! I found a death entry [Regd at Chepstow] at the age of about twenty, some time ago but there were a few [Jessie Barbers on BMD] so can't be sure.

I am also searching the Barber family. My great grandfather was James Barber from St Briavels. My grandfather was John Barber b. 1859. He settled in Scilly. Susan his sister moved to Dorset and became part of the Corbin family. I would like to know what happened to Jessie. Have compiled quite a bit and intend going to Uk [from Canada] next Spring to check out stuff at Gloucester Reg. Office.
