Probably the best way to find out what the search facility can do is to
experiment with the various options which are available. You can for example
search the records of an individual parish or all of them, the same applies for the
event type. To refine your search even further you can insert the possible year
of the event and then choose the year range which will then return records only
within the period which you have chosen.

at last i have sorted out to get on the site kept getting passwords wrong!!!I have now been able to find parish records but i am not sure exactly how to use it would be grateful if someone could help me out.
