I am related to Thomas Cutter (he is my 5 x great grandfather) who married Jane Hodges in 1777. One of their children Noah (born 1790) is my 4 x great grandfather. They are from the St Briavels area.There is a Cutter grave in the burial ground of St Mary the Virgin church at St Briavels.

I'm sorry this comes so long after you posted the message but I've only just found it. There was a family of Cutter's living in Bicknor Street, English Bicknor right up until the late 1960's early 1970's.

I have traced my family back to my GGGrand father, Thomas Cutter, who was baptised in the church of St Mary the Virgin, in English Bicknor on the 15th december 1786. he married susannah morgan in 1810 in the same church.
I would like to know more about them, where they lived, who was his father and so on.
My GGGrand father was a whoop maker, so what was his father.who I know is also named Thomas.
Can anyone help me.
I live in the Rhondda and can get up to the Forest of Dean at any time as I am retired and have my own transport.
