Hi Simone yes its me, still looking for new info. Glad the register of freeminers is on this site and was not really expecting to find Henry on it as thought he had always worked for other people.So would really like to have a look to see what gale he might have applied for and worked on. Yes Parkend is familiar to me too but it would be good to think he had his own patch at some time.Hope all is well with you, Heather.

William Henry b 1881, is grandson of Henry b 1818 and the son of our gt grandfather Henry b 1854.
William Henry married Lucy Thomas in November 1902.....

haha......suppose it would be easier to say your grandmother's and my grandfather's brother! uncle Bill 'chepstow' or 'monmouth' as he was known.

Not sure where he worked but Parkend Colliery ringing a bell for some reason?.. I know he lived there in 1851.

Hi I'm sure somebody has already given this info somewhere but have searched and haven't been able to find out where it is held. Was very pleased to find your register of freeminers on the site and found Henry Frowen who became a freeminer in 1846.Can I find out which gale he worked? Thanks.
